You have your own tutorial?
You know for some tips and tricks you would like to share with community?
You have learned what you shouldn't do when playing SLEGO?

Share it here... make this place a great topic where we all can learn and later have fun...

Please, no discussion why do you dont like SLEGO, how digging game was super etc.

Mayebe we could have this topic as sticky....

The game is simple.  It is all about spacial relations.  Make the pieces fit on the game board lining them up 3 or more at a time.  The pieces are seemingly random and not rotatable.  The prizes, when it gets out of beta, are raffle tickets.  Things could change there.  Another link asks for ideas on prizes might want to read that also: http://forum.entropiapartners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=679&title=slego-need-your-opinion

I like to start in the corners as in my experience the cross shaped piece always seems to come rather early and I dont like to waste pieces when I place it, from here i expand on the colours I already have and try to put them in a way that will let me get more than 1 or 2 rows of 3 three at once for bonus points

This was/is my way of playing SLEGO. Please mind that original SLEGO had 40 rounds. Means more time to decide your strategy.

. Start outside-in. Corners to center.
. You don't want to score in each round. Plan for multiple rows/columns in the deal.
. Practice while it is beta. The most common mistake is to "place" the SLEGO formation.
. last few rounds are most important. Decide yourself if you want to carry on with the risks, or score.
. In a P2P game, you would also like to keep a mental note of others scores. that will help you in last rounds.

PRACTICE. After this beta, we are going to have multiple simulators. Free and Paid. :)

Smile Hello everyone this is Valliant ,

I would like to share some tips on the new game SLEGO so here goes .

1) Remember you dont have to put a piece if you dont want to with no penalty.
(Skipping a turn as no bad effect sometimes good ones too.)

2) Dont always go for a deal right away , sometimes its better to put them on opposite sides and hope for a + or T shaped piece to max out points income.

3) If you need to put a piece and think its hard to fit without going over another piece let it go out of the board instead if u can, costs less on your hard earned points to let it hang for 1 point instead of going over another for 2 points .

4) The cross piece can be placed anywhere so place it for max multiplier instead of losing point doing the good old middle placement.

5) Practice alot you eventually will get a 'gut feeling' for what to place and how .
P.S" IMHO This game is 30% skill , 30% luck and 40% patience :P
And remember its just a game so have fun and good luck.

I hope this little Slego pointer will help some people like this intricate and fun game .

Sincerely yours ,

ZCrow77 The Valliant Tongue

I think he got the item which is being bought next twice....
There are a lot of different items that can be acquired but usually you can only see from 1 item how much you got, which is the one they are buying. So you did get the other items as well, they are just still hidden for you :)

Hope that cleared some stuff up

Just to share my strategy for SLEGO here:

For the first 20 rounds, form blocks of 2x2 diagonally with the same colour and wait for plus(+) shape to come. See picture for illustration.

This will give you 510 points!!! (17x3x10).

Clear blocks that will give you at least multiple of 2 times along the way.

Dont be afraid to sacrifice some points, as the multiples gain is much more.

After round 20, start to clear all the blocks to get as many points as you can.

Have fun.
