$28mil "illegal gains" and:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=449555.0 owner contests seizure. I know quite few people were looking at CrowdSourcing as a way to improve playability of Entropia Universe and because it's a legitimate practice, I can't thank the owners of EntropiaPartners and other sites enough. The game is a lot less desolate now for sure, and the ability to still have a revenue stream for those that feel it's an usustainable investment (most $40/month type) now have a way to generate that (jqkill's $60 in what was it bro a week?) Well played EP However, Bitcoins are becoming safer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-25680016

Be VERY wary of these 'insurance' or 'deposit your stuff here and it will be safe' places.
This has going around for a LONG time, with various venues of 'investments'. Look up Bullion Reserve of North America. Back in the early 80's ok slightly different model but, it was 'insured' it was 'safe' you invested your gold silver and platinum, they 'held' it in 'safe' storage bla bla. turns out the bastard who ran it, was living high a lavish lifestyle with all the money 'invested'.... oh.... think bernie madoff.... well the feds decided to do an 'audit' or whatever you want to call it on the bullion reserve, and the owner committed suicide ... end result, he spent pretty much all the money put into the company on his partying, all the 'investers' took it in the (_O_) very badly.. then the lawyers tried to sue anyone who had any ties to the company, for whatever pennies they thought they could get from it too... including folks who lost money in it!! Do your homework.... and don't think that just because it's on the internet it MUST be true!!! Im an aging , ok some will say.. old bastard, who has seen all these scams come and go time and time again on the internet since the late 80's early 90's.... ok the internet wasn't as widely known back then but the scams were still out there. ... crooks are always the first to exploit another 'angle' to do their work. Ponzi's, Bubble games, pyramid schemes, and, 'insurance' to 'protect' you from the forementioned... seen again and again.... A common sense approach is, only invest money you can afford to lose 100 percent of. Because it is NOT guaranteed. If you think it IS guaranteed, well I have a friend of a cousin's uncle's half brother of his third aunt in Nairobi who is a prince who can send you 4 million to your bank account today if you give him your account and PIN number. sluggo |

As I have grown older, I have learned that pleasing everyone is an impossible task. Making them mad now, is a piece of cake :)
